SHANGHAI, Jun. 28 (SMM) - In recent two months, arrivals of iron ore at China’s ports have been steady.
Approximately 11.835 million tonnes of iron ore are expected to arrive at China’s 24 ports during June 22 and July 6, up by 8.2 per cent from the level seen during June 15-29, SMM estimates.

On Tuesday, domestic steel mills were active in making inquiries, but no large stockpiling was seen due to big gains, with overall trading improving on a daily basis, though.
At present, steel mills largely consume on-hand medium and high-grade goods, despite arrivals of goods under term supply contracts.
