SHANGHAI, Jun. 27 (SMM) – Most medium and large lead-acid battery producers, facing clearing at semi-year and month end, suspend lead purchases by spot transaction this week after stock-building last week.

Ignition Battery Orders Decline amid Falling Lead Price, SMM Reports

This, combined with output resumption at primary and secondary lead smelters, will weigh down lead market in a short term.
