The price spread between domestic #0 zinc and imported zinc shrank sharply this week, SMM noted.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 27 (SMM) - The price spread between domestic #0 zinc and imported zinc shrank sharply this week, SMM noted.

The price gap between the two contracted from 350 yuan per tonne in mid-June to 50 yuan per tonne on June 27, SMM data showed.

China Zinc Imports Return to Loss Territory, SMM Reports

Imported zinc available has been falling noticeably this week because of the closing of import profit window, SMM added.
