SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 22,015/mt today and then fell to RMB 21,945/mt with entry of shorts.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 26 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 22,015/mt today and then fell to RMB 21,945/mt with entry of shorts. In the afternoon, SHFE zinc was boosted as shorts fled, and closed at RMB 22,110/mt, down RMB 25/mt or 0.11%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 26,246 to 554,000 lots, and positions decreased 16,892 to 262,000. The market will eye whether SHFE 1708 zinc will stabilize around RMB 22,000/mt this evening.
