Only 40% of lead and zinc mines in Fujian Province, China remained in normal production at present because of environmental protection pressure, SMM understands.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 22 (SMM) - Only 40% of lead and zinc mines in Fujian Province, China remained in normal production at present because of environmental protection pressure, SMM understands.

A large number of local mines failed to meet environmental protection requirements and were thus closed.
