SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 21,985/mt today and then fell to RMB 21,950/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 22 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 21,985/mt today and then fell to RMB 21,950/mt. With shorts leaving the market, SHFE zinc hit an intraday high of RMB 22,090/mt and closed at RMB 21,990/mt, up RMB 625/mt or 2.93%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 153,000 to 727,000 lots, and positions decreased 2,084 to 276,000. The market will eye whether SHFE 1708 zinc will stabilize at RMB 22,000/mt this evening.
