DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Jun. 22 (SMM) – Indonesia exported 6,989 tonnes of tin in May, up 10% MoM and 30% YoY and a total of 31,385 tonnes in January-May 2017, up 43% YoY, according to Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade.

Stable LME tin price was favorable to export, and the price advanced to $20,680 per tonne briefly in May, refreshing the highest level since January, which stimulated tin export.
However, LME tin has plunged recently. This, combines with Ramadan, will reduce tin export in June.
