SHFE 1708 Zinc Closes with Gains (2017-6-21)

SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 21,325/mt today and the fluctuated around RMB 21,430/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 21 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 21,325/mt today and the fluctuated around RMB 21,430/mt. With shorts entering the market, SHFE zinc fell and fluctuated around RMB 21,370/mt and rallied with leaving of shorts and entry of longs, closing at RMB 21,450/mt, up RMB 60/mt or 0.28%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 124,000 to 575,000 lots, and positions added 4,402 to 278,000. SHFE 1708 zinc may break through RMB 21,500/mt this evening.
