SHANGHAI, Jun. 21 (SMM) - Premiums on #0 zinc over SHFE July zinc stayed firm on June 21 as supplies decreased, SMM reported.

Arriving shipments of imported zinc last week was gradually consumed. Inflows of imported zinc, in the back half of this year, were only limited, SMM explained.

Zinc prices in Guangdong turned from premiums to discounts of 80 yuan per tonne over Shanghai prices.

#0 zinc traded in a 22,600-22,770 yuan per tonne range in Shanghai on June 21. #0 zinc prices in Guangdong were 22,500-22,550 yuan per tonne and 22,700-23,700 yuan per tonne in Tianjin.
