SHFE Lead Prices Up 1.08% (2017-6-16)

SHFE 1707 lead opened at RMB 17,335/mt and closed at RMB 17,295/mt, up RMB 185/mt or 1.08%.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 16 (SMM) – On Friday, SHFE 1707 lead opened at RMB 17,335/mt and then inched down to RMB 17,265/mt with positions opening by shorts. The contract later advanced to RMB 17,380/mt as longs strengthened, and fell back slightly, hurt by longs taking profits. SHFE 1707 lead closed at RMB 17,295/mt, up RMB 185/mt or 1.08%. Trading volumes reduced 17,880 to 50,788 lots and positions fell 970 to 35,858.

SHFE 1707 lead will stay firm in a short term.
