SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 72,620/mt today and dipped to RMB 72,300/mt, but edged up to RMB 73,370/mt in the midday.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 14 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 72,620/mt today and dipped to RMB 72,300/mt, but edged up to RMB 73,370/mt in the midday. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 nickel fluctuated above moving averages and closed at RMB 73,190/mt, up RMB 360/mt or 0.49%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1709 nickel increased 36,600 to 397,000, and positions decreased 11,638 to 543,000. SHFE nickel is expected to remain range-bound this evening.
