SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 21,400/mt today and stopped falling at RMB 20,700/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 13 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 zinc opened at RMB 21,400/mt today and stopped falling at RMB 20,700/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1708 zinc fluctuated around RMB 20,700/mt and rallied later on, closing at RMB 20,720/mt, down RMB 720/mt or 3.36%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 257,000 to 622,000 lots, and positions increased 10,894 to 286,000. The price spread between SHFE 1706 zinc and SHFE 1708 zinc was RMB 1,715/mt. SHFE 1708 zinc should remain range-bound in the evening.
