SHFE Copper Strengthens (2017-6-8)

SHANGHAI, Jun. 8 (SMM) – On Thursday, SHFE 1708 copper opened at RMB 45,060/mt and then slid to RMB 44,940/mt. Later, the contract started rising, up to as high as RMB 45,360/mt, and closed at RMB 45,260/mt with big gains. Positions reduced 4,762 to 219,000 and trading volumes fell 68,000 lots.
SHFE 1708 copper will challenge resistance at the 20-day moving average on Thursday’s night trading.
