SHANGHAI, Jun. 8 (SMM) – China’s primary lead output will drop marginally in June from May’s level due to conventional maintenance at some lead smelters, despite of production resumption after the end of environmental checks, SMM expects.
Lead Prices to Stay Firm on Positive Fundamentals, SMM Forecasts
China posted primary lead output at 233,230 tonnes in May, up 3.31% MoM but down 10.89% YoY as lead smelters, including Henan Zhicheng Gold & Lead, Yunnan Copper and Shandong Humon Smelting, which cut or halted output previously, reopened.
