China Releases Tungsten Production Quotas for 2017, SMM Reports

The Ministry of Industry & Information Technology (MIIT) released tungsten production quotas for 2017 June 7, SMM understands.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 8 (SMM) - The Ministry of Industry & Information Technology (MIIT) released tungsten production quotas for 2017 June 7, SMM understands.

Producers having no quotas or producing more output than allowed quotas will be forced to suspend production immediately. Those that illegally sell or purchase will be punished.

According to the notice, total tungsten production quotas are 91,300 tonnes for 2017.
