SHANGHAI, Jun. 7 (SMM) - Volcan is looking for M & A chance of copper mines to diversify its business, wenhua.com reported.

First Quantum Copper Output to Add 10,000-tpy after Commissioning at Cobre Panama Copper Mine

The company now focuses on Chumpe, Carhuacayán and Rica Cerrea copper mines in the north of Peru.

Volcan is the largest zinc and silver mining company in Peru. It produced 273,400 tonnes of zinc in 2016, down 4.1% from 2015, and 22 million ounces of silver, a drop of 11.4%.
