SHFE 1707 zinc opened at RMB 21,730/mt today and fell to RMB 21,690/mt, but then rose and hovered around RMB 21,780/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 2 (SMM) – SHFE 1707 zinc opened at RMB 21,730/mt today and fell to RMB 21,690/mt, but then rose and hovered around RMB 21,780/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1707 zinc edged up to RMB 21,820/mt and fell at the end of trading, closing at RMB 21,770/mt, down RMB 65/mt or 0.3%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1707 zinc decreased 155,000 to 437,000 lots, and positions decreased 424 to 228,000. The price spread between SHFE 1706 and SHFE 1707 zinc is RMB 740/mt. Positions on SHFE 1706 zinc decreased 5,970 to 45,590.
