Copper mining company Antofagasta announced to sell its stake in Javiera solar park in north-central Chile.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 1 (SMM) – Copper mining company Antofagasta announced to sell its stake in Javiera solar park in north-central Chile, reported by one foreign media.  

The company aims to reduce costs and focus on the copper business.

Antofagasta copper mine has produced 699,400 tonnes of copper in 2016 and sets copper production targets at 685,000-720,000 tonnes for 2017, and most increasing output will be from Los Pelambres copper mine.
