The average operating rate at Chinese electric wire & cable manufacturers is expected to fall slightly to 88.18% in June, SMM predicts based on a survey.

SHANGHAI May 27 (SMM) - The average operating rate at Chinese copper wire & cable manufacturers is expected to fall slightly to 88.18% in June, SMM predicts based on a survey.

Copper Mines to See Cost Fall Further in 2017, SMM Reports

Operating rates at large plants may slide on the month in June. Some large producers are doubtful about the sustainability of copper consumption which hit a record high in May.

Most medium and small ones said they may maintain production at current level.
