SHANGHAI, May 25 (SMM) - Baogang Rare Earth International Trading Co.’s exports of non-spangled galvanized products increased drastically in May after actively developing new markets, csteelnews.com reported.

The company’s export contracts for non-spangled galvanized products totaled 10,802 tonnes as of May 22, compared to 3,462 tonnes in April.

It explores new markets actively whist stabilizing traditional markets, and signed contracts with 7 countries including Israel, the Philippines, Guatemala, Thailand, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and Peru from April.

According to the latest customs data, China’s total exports of die-casting zinc alloy from January to February reached 689.33 mt, up slightly by 0.9 percentage points YoY on a cumulative basis; imports, however, totaled 48.11 million mt, down 35.46 percentage points YoY on a cumulative basis. Overall, China’s die-casting zinc alloy trade from January to February showed a pattern of slightly higher exports and a significant pullback in imports.
