SHANGHAI, May 18 (SMM) – Global tin supply saw 1,500 tonnes of deficit in the first three months of 2017, according to latest data from World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).
Tin inventory declined 2,500 tonnes in March, or fell 1,000 tonnes compared to level seen in late 2016.
Global tin output registered a growth of 5,600 tonnes in January-March 2017 from the same period of 2016. That in Asia rose 1,100 tonnes YoY, and tin apparent demand in China rose 2.5% YoY.
