SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 76，600/mt today, and reached RMB 76,740/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 16 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 76，600/mt today, and reached RMB 76,740/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 nickel fell to RMB 75,840/mt and then rallied, and closed at RMB 76,600/mt, down RMB 590/mt or 0.76%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1709 nickel increased 76,100 to 467,000, and positions increased 14,956 to 562,000. SHFE nickel is expected to consolidate at lows this evening.
