According to Sichuan Environmental Protection, the company that is involved in thallium pollution in the Guangyuan section of Jiangling River was detected, local paper reported.

SHANGHAI, May 10 (SMM) - According to Sichuan Environmental Protection, the company that is involved in thallium pollution in the Guangyuan section of Jiangling River was detected, local paper reported.

Hanzhong Zinc Industry Copper Mine Co. was found guilty for the case.

Thallium content in the waste water discharged by the company is 0.00218 mg per liter, and that in washing and dressing slag is 1.52 mg per liter, 20.8- and 15,199-fold above standards.
