BOC International Releases Base Metals Price Forecast

BOC International Holdings Limited released its forecast for base metals prices from the second to the fourth quarter of 2017.

SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) - BOC International Holdings Limited released its forecast for base metals prices from the second to the fourth quarter of 2017.

It expects nickel prices to average $9,500 per tonne in the second quarter of 2017, and $9,600 per tonne in the third and fourth quarter.

Nickel prices averaged $10,265 per tonne in Q1.

It sees copper prices average $5,800 per tonne in Q2, $5,900 per tonne in Q3 and $5,950 per tonne in Q4.

Aluminum prices are expected to average $1,930 per tonne in Q2, $2,000 per tonne in Q3 and $2,050 per tonne in Q4.
