SHFE 1706 zinc opened at RMB 21,530/mt today.

SHANGHAI, May 4 (SMM) – SHFE 1706 zinc opened at RMB 21,530/mt today. In the afternoon, SHFE 1706 zinc edged down to an intraday low of RMB 21,135/mt with increasing shorts and falling ferrous metals and closed at RMB 21,895/mt, down RMB 645/mt or 2.93%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1706 zinc increased 235,000 to 647,000 lots, and positions decreased 7,228 to 241,000. SHFE 1706 zinc is expected to fall this evening.
