India will install 9812MW of solar power station in 2017, Mercom foresees, up sharply from the company’s forecast at 9020MW released in January.

SHANGHAI, May 3 (SMM) – India will install 9812MW of solar power station in 2017, Mercom foresees, up sharply from the company’s forecast at 9020MW released in January.

Solar power station installation in India will increase 130% from 2016’s level at 4.3GW.

India is expected to be the global third largest PV market in 2017.
