SMM Data: How Much Copper Lost from Unit Maintenance at Chinese Copper Producers in 1H 2017? 

SHANGHAI, May 3 (SMM) – How much copper output is being affected by unit maintenance at Chinese copper smelters during the first half of 2017?

SMM survey finds that the output loss from unit overhaul at domestic copper smelters is estimated to reach about 200,000 tonnes in the first six months of 2017 at the time of news release.

The expected production loss will be higher than the level of 120,000 tonnes seen the same period last year, SMM adds.
