SHFE 1706 Zinc Sees Price Gains (2017-5-2)

SHFE 1706 zinc opened at RMB 22,100/mt today and then edged up to RMB 22,565/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 2 (SMM) – SHFE 1706 zinc opened at RMB 22,100/mt today and then edged up to RMB 22,565/mt. As longs left the market after profit-taking, SHFE 1706 zinc slid to RMB 22,300/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1706 zinc fluctuated around RMB 22,210/mt and closed at RMB 22,230/mt, up RMB 530/mt or 2.44%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1706 zinc decreased 477,000 to 316,000 lots, and positions decreased 16,878 to 254,000. Industrial products prices pulled up with ferrous metals. SHFE 1706 zinc is expected to struggle around RMB 21,300/mt this evening.

【Flash | Sivers Targets Over 100 Million Annual InP Laser Capacity】
