China Zhongwang Posts Lower Revenues and Profit in Q1 2017

China Zhongwang Holdings reported declines in its revenues and profit in Q1 when compared with the same period last year, according to its latest quarterly report. 

SHANGHAI, Apr. 28 (SMM) –China Zhongwang Holdings reported declines in its revenues and profit in Q1 when compared with the same period last year, according to its latest quarterly report. 
The company reported 3.1 billion yuan in revenues in Q1, down from 3.5 billion yuan a year ago, and 513 million yuan in profit, also down from 604 million yuan a year ago.

Its industrial aluminum extrusion sales totaled 143,860 tonnes in Q1, and sales value rose 5.2% year-on-year to 3.33 billion yuan. The company attributes the rise to increasing production and sales of high value-added aluminum extrusions, such as aluminum alloy formwork.
