SHANGHAI, Apr. 26 (SMM) – Market participants hold close attention on monocrystalline silicon capacity after the 11^th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference Exhibition (SNEC) held in Shanghai.

China’s monocrystalline silicon capacity is expected to double to 35-40GW in late 2017 from 2016’s 17GW, with output expansion at domestic large producers.

The capacity forecast excludes 8GW from East Hope Group, 10GW from GCL-Poly Ningxia Branch and 2GW from CSI Baotou Branch.
