SHANGHAI, Apr. 26 (SMM) – Market participants hold close attention on monocrystalline silicon capacity after the 11th International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference Exhibition (SNEC) held in Shanghai.
China’s monocrystalline silicon capacity is expected to double to 35-40GW in late 2017 from 2016’s 17GW, with output expansion at domestic large producers.
The capacity forecast excludes 8GW from East Hope Group, 10GW from GCL-Poly Ningxia Branch and 2GW from CSI Baotou Branch.
