Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group announced to close Jinchuan Smelter permanently from April 20, 2017.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 24 (SMM) - Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group announced to close Jinchuan Smelter permanently from April 20, 2017.

However, the closure of Jinchuan Smelter will not affect Tongling’s total copper cathode output in a short term.

The company will put new furnace reform project into operation in early 2018.
