SHANGHAI, Apr. 10 (SMM) - Guizhou discovered ultra-large manganese mine with reserves of 203 million tonnes in Tongren City, which is the largest manganese mine in Asia, xinhuanet.com reported.

Guizhou found four world-class ultra-large manganese ore deposits and six medium and large manganese ore deposits in recent years. New manganese reserves found reached over 600 million tonnes, accounting for about 60% of national retained reserves.

China is the world’s largest manganese ore and manganese material producing and consuming country.
