SHANGHAI, Apr. 7 (SMM) - Silicon metal plants in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province halted production from late March to fight against high electric cost, SMM understands.

These plants are located in one industry park. Now only one silicon metal plant in Heihe maintains production, but it plans to cease operation in mid-April.
