Liuzhou Iron&Steel Group to Suspend #6 Blast Furnace for 45 Days, SMM Reports

Guangxi Liuzhou Iron&Steel Group plans to shut #6 blast furnace down for 45 days from Apr. 15.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 6 (SMM) - Guangxi Liuzhou Iron&Steel Group plans to shut #6 blast furnace down for 45 days from Apr. 15, SMM learns, and 200,000 tonnes of molten iron will be affected.

Valin LYsteel Plans to Have a 15-Day Maintenance, SMM Learns

Besides, one hot-rolled steel production line will be suspended from Apr. 7 and resumption date is unclear yet. The company has already stopped receiving orders of hot-rolled steel and medium plate.

Meanwhile, cold-rolled steel output is halved while rebar production lines are expanded to 6 from 4.
