Tianhe Magnets started construction of 3,000 tonnes of permanent magnetic material project in Baotou Rare Earth New Material Industry Base.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 6 (SMM) - Tianhe Magnets started construction of 3,000 tonnes of permanent magnetic material project in Baotou Rare Earth New Material Industry Base, reported by www.acrei.cn. The company expects to put it into operation by May.

Baotou promotes seven strategic emerging industries since the beginning of 2017, including rare earth industry.

Baitou Rare-Earth Hi-Tech Zone will carry out 46 RE projects in the year, accounting for 38% of total projects, with investment at 18.1 billion yuan to build national RE new material industry base and promote industrial structure transformation.
