Michael Lion, President of Everwell Resources Ltd., expects Trump’s $1 trillion of infrastructure construction to increase copper scrap supply with demolition of old infrastructures.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 6 (SMM) - Michael Lion, President of Everwell Resources Ltd., expects Trump’s $1 trillion of infrastructure construction to increase copper scrap supply with demolition of old infrastructures, reported by Bloomberg.

China’s copper scrap market is under early stage of development, Lion added, and copper scrap supply will also rise in China with reconstruction of industry and city.

However, Lion, as former President of Sims Metal Management Asia Ltd., pointed out that copper scrap supply will increase with rising prices but will remain a deficit due largely to production suspension at mines.
