Jiangxi Copper Registers 21.93% Growth in Net Profits in 2016

Jiangxi Copper posted a 21.93 percent year-on-year growth of net profits in 2016, up to 841 million yuan, the company said in its 2016 financial report.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 30 (SMM) –Jiangxi Copper posted a 21.93 percent year-on-year growth of net profits in 2016, up to 841 million yuan, the company said in its 2016 financial report.

According to the report, revenues grew 8.91 percent on a yearly basis to 201.73 billion yuan in 2016.

The company produced 1.21 million tonnes of copper cathode in 2016, and 209,900 tonnes of copper concentrate at its own mines, according to the report.

Meanwhile, both its quantity and quality of copper tube/pipe and copper foil hit a record high.
