SHANGHAI, Mar. 28 (SMM) - Anhui Province discovered eight medium and large metal mineral areas over the past two years in its Wanjiang Economic Belt, .zgkyb.com reported.

These mineral areas contain 1.04 million tonnes of copper reserves, 23 tonnes of gold reserves, 1.88 million tonnes of lead and zinc and 75,000 tonnes of tungsten reserves.

Wanjiang economic zone administrative division includes Hefei, Wuhu, Maanshan, Tongling, Anqing, Chizhou, Chuzhou, Xuancheng and some districts of Lu’an city, which covers 75,800 square kilometers.
