SHANGHAI, Mar. 23 (SMM) – The one-month environmental protection inspections in Gongyi, Henan Province came to an end, and the inspection team left the region.

Most of local downstream processing enterprises have begun restarting production in Gongyi this week, SMM survey finds, Outward shipments of aluminum ingot from local warehouses improve, sending down inventories in Gongyi down by 2,000 tonnes on a weekly basis.

SMM learns that those that have not returned online are mainly because they are not equipped with environment-friendly facilities.

SMM will follow up the progress of production resumption in the region.

According to SMM data, inventories of aluminum ingot in China’s domestic market kept growing last week, and total stocks in five regions, including Shanghai, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Gongyi, and Nanhai, reached 1.14 million tonnes.

Danantara, INA, and Chandra Asri Sign Agreement to Fund $800M CA-EDC Plant in Cilegon

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Danantara Indonesia, INA, and Chandra Asri Group signed a Conditional Share Subscription Agreement (CSSA) to fund the Chlor Alkali & Ethylene Dichloride (CA-EDC) plant in Cilegon, Banten.
