ILZSG: Global Lead Supply Sees a 15,000 Tonnes of Deficit in January 2017

International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG) published on March 15 that global lead supply deficit deepened to 15,000 tonnes in January 2017 on a monthly basis.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 16 (SMM) - International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG) published on March 15 that global lead supply deficit deepened to 15,000 tonnes in January 2017 on a monthly basis. And the data was 7,000 tonnes in December 2016 after revising.

Global lead supply saw a 30,000 mt of deficit in January 2016.

ILZSG indicated that lead inventory at consumers, producers and bourse expanded to 490,000 tonnes in January 2017 from 480,000 tonnnes in December 2016.
