Societe Generale Releases Base Metals Price Forecast for 2017

Societe Generale released its price forecast for base metals in 2017 on Wednesday, wenhua.com reported.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 16 (SMM) - Societe Generale released its price forecast for base metals in 2017 on Wednesday, wenhua.com reported.

According to its forecast, spot copper prices will average $6,000 per tonne in 2017, and will rise to $6,325 per tonne in 2018.

Spot aluminum prices will average $1,800 per tonne in 2017, up from $1,725 per tonne previously expected.

Spot nickel prices will average $11,000 per tonne in 2017, lower than the $12,000 per tonne expected previously.

Spot tin prices will average $21,000 per tonne.
