SHANGHAI, Mar. 13 (SMM) - Codelco Chairman Oscar Landerretche expects global copper prices to rise to near $3 per pound by the end of 2017, according to wenhua.com.
This is because of limited supply and expectations that demand will grow from China and the United States.
Copper prices will climb further over the next few months. Prices have yet to rise due to large stocks at bourses and companies.
