China Minmetals plans to increase its copper production given rising copper prices, cankaoxiaoxi.com reported.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 9 (SMM) - China Minmetals plans to increase its copper production given rising copper prices, cankaoxiaoxi.com reported.

The Beijing-based company will increase copper ore output from 650,000 tonnes to over 1 million tonnes in about 5 years.

The focus in expansion will be on copper and zinc.
