Zinc concentrates TCs for 2017 term shipments will likely hit a record low, Teck CEO Don Lindsay said.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 8 (SMM) – Zinc concentrates TCs for 2017 term shipments will likely hit a record low, Teck CEO Don Lindsay said. The company will benefit most if as expected.

SMM learns that the term negotiations, which started in late February-early March, are still underway, as sellers and buyers are widely divided on the talks.

Market players reached a consensus that the charges for 2017 will drop sharply.

Zinc concentrates TCs for 2016 term shipments were around $200 per tonne.
