SHFE 1705 aluminum started at RMB 14,080/mt and closed at RMB 13,830/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 6 (SMM) – On Monday, SHFE 1705 aluminum started at RMB 14,080/mt and then advanced to RMB 14,150/mt. The contract later dropped with shorts strengthening. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1705 aluminum declined further and closed at RMB 13,830/mt. Trading volumes rose to 201,920 lots and positions increased 19,030 to 268,504.

SHFE 1705 aluminum is expected to test support at RMB 13,700/mt and the 40-day moving average.
