SHFE 1704 Zinc Closes with Small Gains (2017-3-2)

SHFE 1704 zinc opened at RMB 23,350/mt, with the high-end of RMB 23,435/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1704 zinc fell to RMB 23,250/mt and closed at RMB 23,270/mt, up RMB 230/mt or 1%.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 2 (SMM) – SHFE 1704 zinc opened at RMB 23,350/mt, with the high-end of RMB 23,435/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1704 zinc fell to RMB 23,250/mt and closed at RMB 23,270/mt, up RMB 230/mt or 1%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1704 zinc decreased 132,000 to 376,000, and positions decreased 5,496 to 150,000. Positions on SHFE 1705 zinc grew 3,990 to 148,000. SHFE 1704 zinc will fluctuate at current level this evening.
