SHFE Nickel Closes with Gains (2017-3-1)

SHFE 1705 nickel opened at RMB 90,920/mt and ended at RMB 91,090/mt, up 0.19%

SHANGHAI, Mar. 1 (SMM) – On Wednesday, SHFE 1705 nickel opened at RMB 90,920/mt and then fluctuated. After Trump indicated on his first address to Congress that he will apply for USD 1 trillion on infrastructure construction, SHFE 1705 nickel advanced to RMB 91,260/mt. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1705 nickel climbed up briefly and then fluctuated. The contract ended at RMB 91,090/mt, up 0.19%. Trading volumes increased while positions dropped.

SHFE 1705 nickel will hover at highs on Wednesday’s night trading with support at the 10-day moving average.
