China’s Rare Earth Exports Rise 153% YoY in January 2017

China exported 4,571 tonnes of rare earth in January 2017, up 153% YoY.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 23 (SMM) – According to China Customs, China exported 4,571 tonnes of rare earth in January 2017, up 153% YoY.

Exports of unwrought copper expanded 68.8% YoY to 17,691 tonnes in January 2017.

The country imported 31,150 tonnes of unwrought aluminum (including aluminum alloy) in the month, up 154.7% YoY.
