SHANGHAI, Feb. 20 (SMM) -The average operating rate Chinese copper wire rod producers is expected to fall to 57.43% in February, SMM predicts based on a survey.

Downstream orders at large and medium producers did not recover after the 2017 Chinese New Year holiday. When combined with surge in copper prices, most of these producers are not optimistic toward February’s output.
